We support the needs of local artist in the community & affiliate non profit organizations without regard to race, religion, or background. Tiffany 

“The Wordmatician” 

Scales


Known as “Houston’s Extemporaneous Poet,” Tiffany “The Wordmatician” Scales is one of the most versatile and admired performance poets in the city.  Recognized for her ability to discern the energy of her audience members and create healing, one-of-a-kind poems without any rehearsal, she has touched many hearts on stages across the nation.  Though she began writing at the age of 4, it wasn’t until 2008 that she began her career as a performance poet.  Since that time, The Wordmatician has performed, hosted, and mentored through poetry nationwide and was nominated for Texas Poet Laureate in 2018.  She is also the co-producer, arranger, and writer of her album, Lyrik the Wordmatician (December 2018), and it such tracks as “My Mind Though” that can make any listener fully appreciate why she is described as “an oracle.”


Tiffany is also Houston’s “Number one couples coach” and the founder of Toiletries for Families and The Arts Advocate.  Through her nonprofit organizations, she has worked tirelessly to eliminate various socio-economic challenges associated with proper hygiene, improve self-esteem, and create a platform of expression for youth throughout the city of Houston.   As a result of her endeavors, in 2018, she was awarded Humanitarian Awards by FedEx and NBUF and recognized for her relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.   


Tiffany has become a symbol of selfless work, a dispenser of divine love, and has continually made herself available to anyone in need.  If you ask her what she practices daily, she will always reply, “Love is the religion I practice.”  She carries I Corinthians 13:7 in her heart wherever she goes, and is a living example that love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

Villa Shurielle 


Villa Shurielle Bodden, also known as Dr. B, is a Texas-based author, spiritual counselor, and holistic healer. 

She transitioned from a successful career in Information Technology after experiencing corporate attacks & retaliation related to racism and sexual assault. 

Determined to be the change, she entered the political arena with a purpose and legislation as a local representative for Texas. 

Owner of a successful advising firm, Villa Shurielle Advising, she is also the executive Director for  Vishu Couture, while continuing to pursue her education to be a naturopathic doctor. 


Dr. B is the creator of the "Amaya's Adventures" series, which includes titles such as The Queen of Words, The Book of Knowledge, and The Activity Book. These books aim to empower children by teaching them about the power of words, positive intentions, and holistic healing. Through the adventures of Amaya and her friends, the series addresses themes like bullying, gratitude, and emotional resilience, encouraging young readers to stand up against negativity and focus on healing and personal growth.



In addition to her literary work, Dr. B is active on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, where she shares her insights and connects with her audience. Her work continues to inspire and uplift children and families, promoting a message of love, empowerment, and holistic well-being.

In Loving Memory of Eternal Member Sean Johnson
10 Nov 1979- 29 Aug 2022

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Sean graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Houston where she majored in Education and minored in Art and English. After graduation, she performed spoken word throughout the country as well as starred in several local plays before continuing on to receive her Masters in Literacy from Walden University. Her poetry has appeared in Riversongs, The Chaos, American Journal of Poetry, Third Wednesday, Sierra Nevada, Typishly and several other publications. She is the author of All My Heroes Were Assassinated .

Though she has always been a serious writer, Sean’s interest in visual arts began in 2016. Since that time she has been a featured live painter, exhibition artist, and vendor at The Writer’s Block, Black Girl Excellence, Domestic Violence Seminars, Midtown Arts Center, Galas and a host of other events. She has had three art exhibitions and had paintings and photography published in The Hunger Magazine, Homology Lit, and Boston Accent Lit. Additionally, she loves to practice Art Therapy as a means to stimulate the memory and fine motor skills of Alzheimer’s Patients.

Sean, is also a Texas Certified teacher who has been in education for over 16 years and taught a variety of subjects to a wide array of learners, ranging from Bridge Kinder to 8th grade. Beyond art, Sean is a rock star auntie and humanitarian known for her monthly homeless outreach, disaster relief program, and mission work in Peru, Central America, and Africa. She believes in placing God above all, and her favorite motto is “Don't let your loyalty become your slavery. If they don't appreciate what you bring to the table...let them eat alone.”New Paragraph

D.F. WRIGHT -



The founder of the Inside And Out Project, D.F Wright, is a military veteran with an engineering background, having served for over 11 years managing Airman and Civilian staff. With a Master’s degree in Psychology, she also has prior experience in starting and running a successful personal training business. Daya is deeply passionate about youth outreach, aiming to inform them of their options and expose them to new opportunities.
